Allergies are the results of the immune system mistaken response to a normally harmless substance. When the immune system is working normally it protects your body from bacteria and viruses. the immune system keeps you from getting sick from germs that find there way into you body. Sometimes the immune system has a hard time telling the difference between good bacteria and bad bacteria it then overreacts. When people who have allergies come in contact with a allergen there immune system produces antibody's, there are thousands of these antibody that bind to the surface of some cells lying in weight for your next exposure.
